The Walmart Foundation today announced its State Giving Council has awarded more than $1 million to 13 non-profit organizations across Ohio to support the fight against hunger and to help children in need. Among the organizations receiving awards, the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks (OASHF) received $235,000 to continue its efforts to address hunger and increase capacity within its network of food banks throughout the state.
