Kelly Arledge has spent more than 20 years working as a corporate, agency and independent public relations and public affairs practitioner for local, regional and national organizations. Her work, which encompasses all aspects of strategic communications, spans both not-for-profit and for-profit worlds across many major industries. Among those are: health care, technology, telecommunications, retail, financial services and government.
Recent and current clients include: EMBARQ Corporation (formerly Sprint); Mount Carmel Health Systems; the Ohio Children’s Hospital Association; Ohio Hospital Association; Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation; The Ohio State University College of Social Work; National Council on Aging - My Medicare Matters program; Huntington Bank; Ohio Afterschool Network; and the Ohio Provider Resource Association, among others.
Before founding her agency, she served as Marketing Manager for Cardinal Health, Inc. and as Public Relations Director for the Management Horizons Division of Price Waterhouse, an international retail consultancy.
Early in her career, she served as Public Relations Specialist for The Limited, Inc. In this capacity, Arledge developed relationships with the financial, consumer and retail press, managed special events, and helped shape the company’s political action organizations.
Arledge began her career in Columbus, Ohio, as a lobbyist and spokesperson for the Ohio Pharmacists Association.
Arledge was named one of Columbus’ “Ten Outstanding Young Citizens” by the Jaycees in 1997 and is a graduate of Leadership Columbus. She earned her bachelors degree in journalism/public relations from Bowling Green State University and has completed coursework required for a master of science degree in journalism at Ohio University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and her work has earned awards from that organization, as well as the Central Ohio chapter of PRSA and the Ohio Society of Association Executives.
